Janaye began her dance career in her living room, at the age of 2, entertaining family and friends! Recognizing her daughter's rare gift to communicate through dance, her mother enrolled her in her first dance class at 3 years old. Janaye's love and focus for dance allowed her to excel immediately and at 6 she began 12 years of training in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, musical theatre and acrobatics. By 8 she was dancing with the Junior Raptors Dance Pak and competing in dance competitions throughout North America. When she was 12 she expanded from the stage to screen when she landed her first principal role in Bella Dancerella. During her years of dance Janaye has had many accomplishments including Miss Teen Can-Dance & Miss Teen MLDMA, Dancer of the Year in Orlando, FL, Senior Dancer of the Year NYCDA, Philadelphia, IMTA Scholarship winner, Los Angeles.
