Tim Chonacas

Chonacas Is the Founder and CEO of Untouchable. Chonacas has been an accomplished entrepreneur from a young age, long before moving to Los Angeles. In his hometown of Detroit, Michigan, he started out life as a creative, excelling in drawing and graphic design. His true passion ultimately became photography, as his keen eye and ability to truly capture everything and anything he saw before him. This ability to observe unique beauty led him to win awards, scholarships in the arts and notoriety. Chonacas, raised in a large low-income family, knew it would be a long hard road as an artist; and passed on scholarships and other opportunities presented before him. He followed his intuition and decided to put all focus on gaining as much knowledge and understanding there was in business, day in and day out, it was his only priority. Immediately, he experienced the results and became a well-respected luxury motorsports salesman which allowed him to purchase a small chain of tanning salons which progressed into the realty space, and flipping houses without any help from anyone or banking institutions. At this point, filled with abundance and knowledge from his personal success and equity in his favor, Chonacas sold his businesses and went back to pursue his calling; his innate love of the arts. Chonacas has been in the independent film world for the last 15 years. Through his time he has built up a vast network of contacts that are leading the independent film industry. Untouchable is a well known Independent Feature film Production Company to date, Chonacas and Untouchable are primarily known for Executive Producing titles such as Kilimanjaro (2013), Some Velvet Morning (2013), All Eyes on Me "2Pac" (2017) and Inconceivable (2017), with an additional four credited and ten un-credited films and another fifteen (15) in development and pre-production with a few leading producers. Tim's ability to negotiate and use of his connections in the industry has been instrumental in finding productions for the fund & Untouchable. Tim's accomplishments and industry wide respect from his peers led him to being approached to run a $15,000,000 film fund on the Paramount Pictures Studio lot which under his control, was a incredible success and because of that, it led him to establish his own film fund. In 2018, Chonacas went on to found and form Gold Tree, asking his Attorney William J. Immerman to join him after having a 11 year ongoing professional relationship. During this time, Chonacas was able to secure a number of sought after productions for the company with great A-List talent attachments. Chonacas secured $50,000,000 in equity financing through his long relationships with Bank & Trust but due to the global hardship caused by the Covid-19 Pandemic, it was lost. However, Chonacas was able to pivot the investment into $90,000,000USD in collateral. Which is still held by the company still today. Chonacas, now in 2022, has founded and formed Gold Tree Studios first location with his long time friend and film development financing partner, Rom Alborzi, along with his partner Immerman. It is located in West Hollywood on the legendary Sunset Strip located in the heart of it Sunset Plaza. This studio is second to none and will be the new standard for post productions services and facilities throughout the industry.
