Kelley McIntire was born in Washington, DC to James and Heijin McIntire. James is a retired carpenter and a former Pelican skydiver and instructor, while Heijin is a legal secretary. Kelley grew up in the small farming town of Denton, Maryland until the family moved to Lynnwood, Washington. She continued to move back and forth between the two coasts for several years before settling in Atlanta, Georgia where she currently resides. Despite the many moves, Kelley regards Denton as her hometown and has said she will always be a small town kind of girl. Although finances were tight in the McIntire household, Kelley's mother did her best to expose her and her brother to various forms of art and culture. Kelley started taking ballet lessons at a very young age, but decided to quit during her early teens. During that time, she played a mouse two years in a row in the Olympic Ballet Company's production of The Nutcracker. She also appeared in a few school productions. In high school, she contemplated a career in music. She started a band with her friend, but nothing ever came of it. However she continues to write lyrics, and is currently working with friend Chris Critzer of Whisper System. She did not appear in any school productions in High School, opting instead to work behind the scenes. Kelley briefly attended Seattle Central Community College, but struggled in finding what she wanted to study. She contemplated several career paths including forensic science, music production, and psychology. No matter what happened in her life though, she always went back to acting. Her first film role was as the pushy Bible Girl in Oliver Tuthill's "The Right to Bear Arms." From there she appeared in a few shorts. Her last project was in the short, "Pimps 101: Rapes, Lies, Tape, No Escape," which was shown around Norfolk Schools. A big Batman fan, her dream role is said to be Harlequin. Kelley is currently attending classes at The Professional Actor's Studio and auditioning in Atlanta.
