Sheryl is one the producers of Just Another Dance With My Father, a film short about a young stroke survivor. This short played at WorldFest 48 Houston in Texas (Remi Award winner), Julien Dubuque International Film Festival in Iowa, GI Film Festival in Washington D.C, and the California Women's Film Festival. It also has been accepted at the Louisville Festival in Film. As an actor, Sheryl can be seen playing Mrs. Robbins in Roxie which premiered in Hollywood in March, 2015 and is available for download from Amazon Prime and GooglePlay. Roxie won 'Best Feature' at the Bushwick Film Festival, and was a selection at the Sonoma and AMPM Film Festivals. Sheryl graduated from Chapman University with a Bachelor of Music in vocal performance. After graduation she performed in numerous musicals and operettas regionally, created a cabaret show, and was in a national tour of H.M.S. Pinafore. After the tour Sheryl studied acting at the Stella Adler School in Hollywood. Sheryl then continued her studies at the Meisner-based school, Actors Workout Studio (AWS). She did multiple plays and together with two acting friends created Big Bite Productions. They produced the stage productions The Lies We Live, AWS Holiday Show which benefited Toys for Tots, and co-produced New York State of Mind; every performance selling out nightly. Sheryl is married to Steve Grabe, an opera singer. They live in Los Angeles and spend their spare time dancing.
