Blake Dawson moved from Georgia when she was 11 to pursue her dream in acting and music. Blake has starred as the lead in several theatre productions coast to coast ranging from "Oliver!" to "Disney Magic", and has worked closely with Hollywood director, Ron Howard. Blake stars in the comedy/horror short film, Hollywood Gamble, directed by David Silberman. Blake appears on T.V. in a National Commercial with NBA Superstar Kevin Durant. Blake also appears in the new Adobe CS5 industrial feature for film special effects. Blake studies and trains with Hollywood's best actors and coaches. Blake performed her original stand up comedy show at Harrah's World Famous Improv in Las Vegas, at age 13. Nick Cannon featured Blake in his magazine, Celebrity High , as she received rave reviews from him, and she is also a regular performer at the House of Blues on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood. Blake began singing when she was 3, while riding in the back of her mom's car, listening to classical/opera music. Blake continues her work with Hollywood's top writers and producers to create amazing, fresh music for her fans. Blake co-wrote, recorded, and co-produced her first two original songs at age 12, which can be heard on iTunes and YouTube. Blake also sings the National Anthem at professional sports events, nationally. Blake keeps her life in balance with sports, friends, and painting/sculpting. With Blake's Georgia roots, she brings her sweet, humble "Southern Belle" charm that collides with her focused, "Hollywood", thick-skinned determination to create a fresh, original actress and artist from the inside out, which can be seen in her unique personality and vocal style. People who have met Blake Dawson often comment that she is a "breath of fresh air" to this fast-paced industry.
