Arno Krimmer

Arno Krimmer is CEO/Owner of Ascending Global Group of Companies incl. Ascending Entertainment located in Munich, Germany, Ascending Film located in Vienna, Austria & Ascending Studios located in Mumbai, India. Ascending Film's first feature film Once Again was realized together with European channels / funders MDM, ARTE & ZDF and was sold to Netflix International in 2018. Once Again was for many weeks one of the most trending films on Netflix India and won Best Film at Rajasthan Int Film Festival in Jaipur in Jan 2019. The film had its TV premiere when it was aired by pan-European channel ARTE in June 2020. Before turning producer Krimmer worked as a scriptwriter for many int. Animated TV Series, e. g. the 3rd volume of the popular Lilly the Witch (2004)-series based on the children books of KNISTER which have sold more than 20 million copies. Before that Krimmer ran the Dept of Screenplay Writing at Film & TV Institute of India in Pune where he welcomed many great scriptwriters in his class, eg Bernd Lichtenberg, scriptwriter of Academy Award-nominated Good-Bye Lenin!, Sriram Raghavan, director/writer of Andhadhun, Jaideep Sahni, Head of Story at Yash Raj who wrote Chak De! India starring Sharukh Khan & Amole Gupte who wrote Taare Zameen Par starring Aamir Khan. He has conducted master classes at various film schools and festivals worldwide, e. g. University of Hertfordshire to the north of London or Whistling Woods International located within the premises of the Bollywood Film City in Mumbai, India.
