Ernest Hariyanto

Ernest Hariyanto is a documentary filmmaker, producer, writer, and editor. He is known for the award-winning documentary feature Jalanan (2013), NatGeo's documentary Let Elephants be Elephants (2014), and the internationally acclaimed film Laya Project (2007). He co-produced, wrote, and edited Jalanan (2013). This feature-length Indonesian documentary won the Best Documentary award at the prestigious Busan International Film Festival 2013. Ernest is an Australia Academy Cinema Television Arts accredited writer and editor for his work in Indigenous documentaries in Australia.
