Alain Bastien has been immersed in the performing arts and the artistic world since his teenage years when he created the group Hip-Hop Technical Sense, which was a great success in the 1990s. This group also opened several concerts of well-known artists during the 90s, including NAS, Wyclef Jean, Jay-Z and Black Moon. He makes his first appearance as an actor in the independent film Double Vie, directed and produced by Henri Pardo. He also appeared in Soleil dans la Nuit and a few other independent Haitian films. In 2010, Alain is noticed for his performance in the feature film Sortie 67, produced and directed by Jephté Bastien and winner of the ''Claude Jutra'' award for best feature film at the 31st Genie Awards.
