Cenk Erturk (born August 18, 1985) is a Turkish film director, screenwriter, and producer with an excessive interest in peaceful duels and owls. After studying Economics at Bogazici University, Cenk went to New York University Tisch School of the Arts to study film. There he began developing Noah Land, his first feature film as his master's thesis and finalized the screenplay at Cannes Film Festival's Cinéfondation Residence. Noah Land (2019) premiered at Tribeca Film Festival and won the Best Screenplay and the Best Actor awards in the international competition.
