Philip Mann is published author, screen-writer and actor. He was born in Hanover, Germany in 1966. Philip grew up in Berlin but spent most of his live in London, UK. His first acting role was in 1979's Primel macht ihr Haus verrückt alongside established German actors like René Koldehoff, Brigitte Mira and Barbara Valentin. He has worked as a freelance author contributing to newspapers such as Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung and magazines like Vogue. He has contributed to various books and anthologies e.g. Ernährungsgrundlagen für den leidenschaftlichen Trinker published by Metrolit in 2013. In 2009 he played a supporting role in Reg Traviss' Psychosis. Philip Mann's long-term project The Dandy at Dusk - Taste and Melancholy in the Twentieth Century was published by Head of Zeus in 2017. He has since been working on his English memoirs and various screenplays.
