Amanda Brooke Lerner

Amanda Brooke Lerner recently co-starred in Comedy Central's Awkwafina is Nora from Queens as B.D. Wong's Blind-Date-from-Hell and opposite Omari Hardwick on Starz Power. She's had Guest Starring roles on Nat Geo, A+E, and Lifetime, to name a few. Lerner is a series regular in a variety of award-winning pilots and web series. You may recognize Amanda as Olga in the wildly popular Optimum: The Unmovers spots. In addition, Amanda has had principal roles in over 50 independent films. She played mom to both 2x Emmy Winner Julia Garner (Ozark, The Americans) and John D'Leo (The Family, The Wrestler). Winner Best Actress: The Long Island Int'l Film Festival Expo (LIFFE) for The Cartographer and for Daffodil at CRISFF. Nominated Best Supporting Actress for Kill Al, The House on Cox Curve and Sasha. She holds a BFA in Acting from Rutgers under the direction of Bill Esper and Maggie Flanigan and currently studies with Larry Moss. Amanda is a proud member of AEA and SAG-AFTRA, serving on the National Low Budget Film Committee since 2019. On the 20th Anniversary of 9/11, Amanda will be reuniting with the cast and crew of Good Grief by Kirt Shineman, about a woman who witnesses her son being killed in a Terrorist attack in Belgium. Other regional credits include Blanche in A Streetcar Named Desire and Beatrice in The Effect of Gamma Rays on man-in-the-Moon Marigolds. As a HoH Person, Amanda is on a mission to establish authentic representation in the entertainment world for folx who are caught between the Hard of Hearing and Hearing Worlds. She is working to help neutralize the stigma and Make Hearing Aids cool. A 4th Generation New Yorker and a self-proclaimed sugar addict, Amanda is obsessed with Mid Century Modern design and vintage/vintage inspired dresses. She lives in Upstate Manhattan (aka as Inwood) with her a one-eyed, semi-feral Maine Coon Cat named Shadi, who's an absolute Beast and will never accept you. Beware.
