Alex Smith

Alex grew up in a family of musicians, playing the piano by ear. As a boy, Alex took interest in film music, and was particularly influenced by the music of Danny Elfman. Still self-taught in music, he began composing in high school. In 2006, he began formal music training at Graceland University, where he studied music theory and piano performance. Now living in Vancouver, Washington, Alex works as a freelance composer. He has scored several short films, documentaries, and trailers, and has composed tracks for the music library Immediate Music
