Cherry Hill Homes, Florence Alabama, 1987, while watching a "California Raisins" commercial on television is where the dream of being a filmmaker began for Writer/Producer Eriah S. Howard. A highly nominated filmmaker Since 2014, Eriah has won several Film Festival Awards, and his work has been accepted and showcased throughout the Country, including Los Angeles, New York, Orlando, San Diego, Dallas/Fort Worth, Las Vegas, and Miami, Florida. Overseas reach includes Marbella, Spain and Montreal, Quebec, where his work was nominated for "Best Film". His debut effort, a Feature Film titled "No Weapon Formed Against Us" (2015), starring Sam Sarpong, managed to win 10 Film Festival Awards, including Best Actress, Best Dramatic Film, People's choice award & Best Supporting Actor for Sam Sarpong, to name a few. The follow-up effort, 2016's "Woman Scorned" (2016), earned two opening night screenings in Las Vegas and New York, and again, amidst double-digit nominations, has earned Mr. Howard multiple film awards, including Best Short film (HM), "Best New Urban Filmmaker" & The "Director's Choice" Award at the Imdb qualifying Fort Worth Indie Fest, where Woman Scorned was nominated in three categories: Best Dramatic Short, "Every Woman", and "What's Love got to do with it", the latter two being Special Categories. Eriah is a Military Veteran of the United States Marine Corps & holds an AS Degree in film from The Los Angeles Film School.
