Will McDowell

Will McDowell is Head of Production at Hiker (Creative Agency) and the founder of Mooj Productions, a creative services company working in the music industry. He has produced and directed award-winning video and still content for artists such as Lil Nas X, Yves Tumor, Ava Max, Mark Ronson, Alec Benjamin, King Princess, Julia Michaels, Sabrina Carpenter, Caroline Polachek and for clients such as Spotify, Red Bull, Duracell, Apple and Samsung. Will was trained and mentored by Miranda July (Sundance-winning filmmaker), Ned Brown (Commercial producer and music video veteran: from Lexus to Lana Del Rey) and Mike Grigsby (award-winning UK documentarian most known for his films about the Vietnam War and the Lockerbie Bombing). Will's first short documentary, ONE FOOT ON THE GROUND, was purchased by the British Film Institute's National Library. He lives in New York after many years spent in LA, and grew up in Oxfordshire, UK. In addition to his work in film, Will is represented as a novelist by United Agents, UK by Millie Hoskins in the literary division. His first novel, OPACITY, will be released in 2022.
