Jake Ta'Veren

Jake Ta'Veren was an actor, singer and comedian. Originally from Lancaster, NY, Jake moved to Arizona and then California seeking a career as an entertainer. His first feature film, "Break The Sky", in which Jake played the lead role of Frank alongside his actual brother Carlton, played at a film festival in Hollywood in December of 2008. Jake had a sense of humor like a child and a furious energy which is greatly missed after Jake took his own life on October 13th, 2014. Born Jacob Tanner, Jake adopted the last name "Ta'Veren" as his stage name. Ta'veren is from the book series "A Wheel of Time" and is someone who greatly impacts the web of destiny. These people are spun out and used by the Wheel to correct itself when the weave begins to drift from the intended Pattern. Since the purpose of ta'veren is to influence life threads to create change, the destinies of ta'veren themselves are more strictly controlled by the Wheel of Time itself than those of an average person.
