Melanie Blanco

As a young girl she developed a passion for acting, dance, acrobatics, theater, fashion and joined the "Teatro Municipal de Madrid", a classical Theater Company in Madrid. She made her acting debut with the popular Spanish tv series "La pecera de Eva" playing the role of Pilar. At the same time she starred several commercials for brands such as Mc Donald's, Play Station, Ikea, Durex, Vodafone, Movistar, Vip's, Ghd among others. In 2012, she moved to Los Angeles where she started working with the Bilingual Foundation of the Arts being part of the cast of "Lazarillo de Tormes" and the flamenco opera "Lorca, child the moon". In 2013, she participated in the International Theater Festival of L.A. representing Spain with "The proof of my life" and won the"Best Actress Award". Being this play the first production of the theater company La Petite Mort Teatro created by Jose Barroso and herself. Other credits include "Cumbia de mi corazon" and "The house of Bernarda Alba" directed by Denise Blasor and performed at the Barnsdall Theater of Hollywood. She was part of the cast of "Carmen" produced in 2013 by L.A. Opera and conducted by Maestro Plácido Domingo. She has starred commercials in the US for companies such as Kahlua with Jeff Bridges, Hard Rock Cafe, Alegria shoes and Cricket,among others. As model she has been part of several runaways shows in Las Vegas, Long Beach and Los Angeles for the companies such as Eufora and J's studios. She has been photographed by successful photographers in Los Angeles and Spain.
