Rafael Torres is a Composer/Engineer/Music Producer from FL, who has contributed music on hit TV shows like "Jimmy Kimmel Live! (ABC), "Big Brother" (CBS), "American Ninja Warrior" (NBC), "La Voz" (Telemundo), Over 3500+ Games/Episodes on FoxSports1 Channel and Oscar® Award Winner Russell Crowe's film "The Next Three Days" as part of his credentials. Rafael has contributed and composed music for Award Winning Production Companies such as Universal Music Production Music, Ole Music/MusicBox (Music Rights Management company for Steven Tyler, Timbaland and Rush to name a few) & Vanacore Music Inc. , known for their awesome music on hit TV Shows such as "Survivor", "Big Brother", "The Apprentice" and "Wipe Out". Read below to learn more about Rafael and his stamp on the music Industry. Music Producer/Engineer Rafael Torres made his imprint to the music scene in the early 90's. He studied at the Institute of Audio Research in New York City. His innovative production skills led him to various genres of music. He used these skills to produce underground club hits like Dance with Me and La Rumba, while record labels like SONY/BMG, WEA, Tommy Boy and Cutting Records gave home to his sound. In 1999, Rafael was introduced to the world of TV/Film and met the late George Jackson, (former CEO of Motown Records) & Frank Cooper III (Former SVP of Business Affairs - Def Jam Records) whom later signed him as Music Producer/Engineer/Sound Designer to their newly formed company, Urban Box Office Network (UBO), NYC. He has worked on many celebrity websites, short films and animations. His Original Music Score and Sound Design on the digital animation "Jiggy Bug" helped win 1st Place in the Worldwide Animation Contest beating out Pixar Studios. Judges included the Late Legendary Stan Lee, Rob Minkoff - director of The Lion King, and Brad Bird - director of The Incredibles and Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol. During this period, Rafael met today's music partner Edgard Jaudé and decided to create their Alias name - ER Inc. They teamed up on Zelma Davis' (Formerly of C&C Music Factory) solo debut release "Power" along with songwriter Curtis Richardson (songwriter for Jennifer Lopez's "All I Have"). Rafael produced the spicy Latin Dance versions. The end result of a collaborated production effort between them and the world famous DJ's Junior Vasquez & Eddie Baez, the single launched to #1 on the Billboard Dance Sales charts. With a vast spectrum of music covered, their work has taken them from producing records to mainstream TV & Film. Today, they consistently compose and contribute music for TV & Film companies throughout the world such as Lionsgate Films, Paramount, DreamWorks, Universal, MGM, NBC, ABC, CBS, MTV, FOX and the list goes on. Taking pride in staying in tune with the latest technology and constantly evolving is one of his personal goals. When Rafael breaks away from his private recording studio, he enjoys special time with his family & friends. On the private side of this producer/engineer, Rafael, a native Brooklyn born Colombian New Yorker, is an active Wing Chun Kung Fu practitioner committed to a healthy and God spiritual filled daily training regimen.
