Ken Amlin is an award winning Canadian filmmaker, based in Windsor, Ontario. Since high school, he has been making short films, music videos, and has worked in various departments, including producing, editing, directing, and writing. Amlin has received praise for his work both nationally, and internationally, having both produced, directed, and been a part of films that have made appearances in the Windsor International Film Festival (WIFF), Stuff Mx Film Festival (Mexico), London International Film Festival, Airdrie Film Festival (Alberta), Essex DocFest, MOFF, Portland Comedy Film Festival, Killer Valley Comedy Festival, Quarantine Images Short Film Festival, American Golden Picture International Film Festival, Screaming Ostrich International Film Festival, and many others. He won numerous awards for his short film "Stay", including Best Short Film in numerous festivals, and also Best Quarantine Film, in specifically pandemic related festivals. He is most well known for his work on Stay (2020), Halloween Heroes (2020), and The Backhand (2020).
