Dash Gierhart

Dash Gierhart (born Daniel J. Gierhart) is an American actor, voice actor, and independent film director and writer, based in Chicago, IL. A native of Ohio, Gierhart began acting in high school plays, musicals, and comedic videos, which led him to focus on acting and directing for the Department of Theatre and Film at Bowling Green State University. After graduating there with a Bachelor of Arts, Gierhart performed for a touring children's theatre company and various theatre productions in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area of Minnesota. He then relocated to Chicago, where he graduated from various performance training programs such as the Music Improv Conservatory at The Second City Training Center, the Improv Training Program at iO (formerly Improv Olympic) Chicago, and the Sanford Meisner Acting Technique at The Green Shirt Studio. Gierhart has also trained in various forms of martial arts, including Muay Thai, Krav Maga, Kali, and Western Boxing. Gierhart is also the owner, main content creator, and Game Master for the Actual Play TTRPG (Tabletop Role-Playing Game) web series, "Journey Punks".
