Luana Lobo (Brazil, 1985) Partner and head of the production and distribution strategy branch at Maria Farinha Films, launching all MFF titles as "film movements", raising awareness about urgent causes and getting people engaged in Latin America. In 2015, she co-created a new project to support continuous efforts to democratize the access to inspiring stories: Videocamp, a free online platform that enables film productions that seek social impact and transformation to reach as many people as possible, responsible for 30,000 exhibitions in more than 110 countries and an audience of more than 900,000 people. In 2018, she co-created the hybrid distribution branch Flow, which develops collaborative strategies. One of its first ventures was the label Believe Films, curated to inspire change and bringing movies such "RBG" and "Far from the Tree", both from Participant Media, to Latin America. In 2019 she launched the movement behind the TV series Aruanas, an impact campaign in partnership with more than 20 organizations, among them UN Environment, WWF, Amnesty International, Global Witness and Greenpeace.
