Ashley Weisdorf

A born performer, Ashley had the good fortune of being able to perform in theatrical productions early on at the elementary school level. For his undergraduate studies however, at the University of Toronto, he attained his degree in music performance. His desire to act though led him to augment his undergraduate pursuits beyond the musical realm by taking film and drama courses, as well as acting in short films via Hart House at the U of T, hallowed grounds where notables such as Donald Sutherland had cut their chops. Ashley subsequently went on to study at The Stella Adler Acting Studio in New York City. Upon returning to Toronto, his home, he gained admittance to the Canadian performers union, A.C.T.R.A., and has worked in film, theater and television. A talent not to be missed, Ashley continues to hone his craft under the auspices of the much lauded Michael Caruana (Bongo Productions), with an emphasis on Meisner.
