Melanie Welch

Melanie Bryn Welch was born in Denton, TX on August 22, 1990 to Dennis and Kyla Welch. She got her start in acting at age 6, appearing as a townsperson in Denton Community Theatre's "Inherit The Wind". Throughout her childhood and teen years, she continued to be heavily involved in both the community theatre and her school's theatre program, accumulating over 50 show credits. She graduated from Ryan High School in 2008 and attended North Central Texas College and Grayson County College. In 2010, she dropped out of college to move to Shreveport, LA to pursue a career in film. Recently, Fight Boy Theatre, a small theatre company in Denton, produced a short play she wrote, entitled "Half Empty."
