Franklin Kielar

Franklin Kielar was born in Upstate NY in 1977. At an early age he began drawing and working with lighting techniques and set design through a love of decorating for the holidays. Although he didn't get into theater or movie making early, he did focus on drawing and writing. His works range from graphite and pencil works, to painting and digital mediums. In 1999 he graduated from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale with a BS in computer animation. Since then he has worked on award winning independent feature films and short films, along with many art exhibits and shows. Most of his works have a supernatural feel and are rendered in an abstract style with the intent of portraying part of a story. This story telling has continued into every project to date. Many of the films he has worked on has gone on to win awards. He continues to pursue film and art on a daily basis.
