Edie Pilar enjoys infusing her urban-sass with her intellectual class, combining her conservatory training, business degree and yoga teacher training into every aspect of her life. She's a born-and-raised New Yorker. Her father is from Bogota, Colombia and her mother is Ecuadorian-Italian, Bronx-bred. Edie now lives in Los Angeles. Her bold choices have led her to win Best Actress in a Short Film at the New York Sparrow Film Project for Hippy Dippy and a nomination for Best Actress in a Stage Production at the well-respected Strawberry One-Act Theatre Festival for Blood Orange Sorbet. Her directorial debut, The Walk Home" was featured in the Queens International Film Festival, New Filmmakers Festival, and Media Festival. Her micro short, "Her Anniversary Anxiety" about a woman preparing to propose to her man, was featured in LETNetworks #AmLatino Festival and the Low Budget Film Festival.
