Grammy®-winning producer, composer, arranger Brent Fischer carries on the legacy of his legendary father, Dr. Clare Fischer, for creating a rich harmonic and orchestral palette that has become the Fischer brand. A multi-instrumentalist (bass, vibes, keys, drums), Brent moves easily across genres - especially Jazz, Pop, and Symphonic. His arranging credits appear on over 30 million albums to include: Usher, Michael Jackson, Elvis Costello & The Roots, D'Angelo (who won Grammy® Album and Song of The Year for "Really Love" from his album "Black Messiah" --Brent Fischer is credited as arranger and producer). Brent produced the last eight Clare Fischer albums, including Grammy®-nominated 2011 release 'Continuum', 2012 Grammy®-winning '¡Ritmo!' (Best Latin Jazz Album) and 2013 Grammy®-winning 'Music for Strings, Percussion and the Rest' (Best Instrumental Composition). The Clare Fischer Latin Jazz Big Band release '¡Intenso!' features Sheila E. and Roberta Gambarini. A BMI artist, Brent Fischer's modern arrangement of the classic Pictures At an Exhibition by Modest Mussorgsky has delighted audiences worldwide (recorded by European HR Big Band) and creates a new big band aesthetic for orchestral music with stunning results. Mr. Fischer has a Degree in Symphonic Percussion from California State University, Northridge. He consults musicians and offers clinics and/or masterclasses. Brent directs the Clare Fischer ensembles to include: Big Band, Latin Jazz Group (also with Singers), Jazz Corps (a unique 30-piece ensemble), Organ Quintet, and Clarinet Choir. Working professionally in the music industry since age 16, Brent has performed with groups from more than 20 different countries on 10 different instruments.
