Alison Janes is a multi-talented film actress and producer. Her film and television work includes leading roles in Morbid Minutes and Deathly Spirits, directed by Ted Raimi, The Deep End, Matters of the Heart, Deep is Calling and Tangled Love. Alison Janes was recently nominated for Best Lead Actress by Broadway World for her portrayal of Marilyn Monroe in Marilyn, Madness and Me at the El Portal Theater. Alison received her Masters Degree from DePaul University in Chicago. She has toured nationally and internationally with Vox Lumiere where she starred as and originated the role of Tinkerbell in Vox Lumiere's Peter Pan, and as Christine, in their international tour of Phantom of the Opera. At Tim Robbin's acclaimed theater The Actors' Gang, she stepped in with only two hours of rehearsal, playing leading lady Lydia in The Rivals. An accomplished operatic soprano, Alison has starred in operas including Cunegonde in Candide, Johanna in Sweeney Todd and Nannetta in Falstaff. Alison is developing her first feature film and recently wrapped a project directed by Shaun Hart. Ms. Alison Janes resides in Los Angeles, California.
