Vick Wright is a British Writer/Director, born and raised in Yorkshire. His deep appreciation and love for movies forged his childhood and teenage years. Culminating in his interest for comic books and the art of telling stories in a visual medium. As a teenager he became interested in music, and at the tender age of 17 joined he moved to Los Angeles where he joined Epic Recording artists "Johnny Crash" and released the critically acclaimed album "Neighborhood Threat." After the death of bassist, Andy Rogers the band split up and Wright continued his musical career as a professional DJ working at the world famous Crazy Girls strip club in Hollywood. This would be the inspiration for his first novel, "South Of The Pole" published by Midnight Press Books. The book has been out of print since 2012, but the screenplay is completed according to Wright. After becoming involved with a local theater group in Hollywood and studying dramatic arts at Stella Adler Academy and Playhouse West, Wright began writing screenplays. After knocking on every door in Hollywood trying to get his stories noticed he decided to shoot his first short film, entitled "White Trash Noir", which he won the award for "Best Director for a Short or Feature" at the 2011 AOF international film festival. His latest feature film is the supernatural thriller entitled "To Hell With A Bullet" which won the "Best Horror Film" award at the 2014 AOF International Film Festival and is scheduled for release in 2015. The next film for Wright and his company, Vicktory Films is a thriller entitled "A Lineage of Pigs". The story is reportedly a modern retelling of "The Three Little Pigs" fairy tale.
