Jessica McLaughlan

Jessica McLaughlan is a multifaceted creator, with experience acting, writing, directing, and producing. Her comedy TV Pilot, IT Girls, was a 2021 Semifinalist in Screencraft's Comedy Competition and was a 2021 Quarterfinalist in Screencraft's TV Pilot Competition, Filmmatic's Short Film Competition and Filmmatic's Comedy competition. Her web series, by the same title, was a part NYC Web Fest 2019 official selection. She has trained in sketch and improv comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade, and is a co-founder of the all-women comedy group, Average Women, based out of New York City. Jessica is also a classically trained violinist and vocalist, and performed as a guitarist and singer in a punk band for several years.
