Starlene Stringer

Starlene Stringer is a successful Radio & TV Personality, Actress, Model, Best-Selling Author and Inspirational Speaker too. Starlene is the Morning Show Co-Host and News Director for the #1 Christian station in America, 94.9fm KLTY. This Dallas based news anchor is also seen regularly on television and in corporate and educational training videos. She's a regular on-air fundraising host for KERA-TV (PBS) and a Talk Show Host and Reporter for ICTN-TV. However, Starlene is most recognized as the first African American to provide airborne Traffic Reports for a North Texas television station and for surviving a helicopter crash while working as a Traffic Anchor for KTVT-TV (CBS 11). Her corporate video hosting experience includes 7-Eleven, Mary Kay, Price Water House Coopers, Ben E. Keith, Voyager Workplace Learning and Pier 1 Imports. In addition to her numerous commitments and speaking engagements this Best-Selling Author still finds time to volunteer. Starlene has served as a volunteer reader at North Texas Taping and Radio for the Blind, entertained kids at Children's Medical Center Dallas, organized groups for Mission Arlington and traveled as far away as Kingston, Jamaica to feed the hungry with Food For the Poor. Her books are titled, Speak Through Me: The Diary of a Military Brat and I Am Her... and It's Actually Okay. Starlene holds a degree in Mass Communications from Texas Woman's University.
