Claire Lovering is an award winning Australian actress and writer. She was born and raised in Fremantle, Western Australia and is an acting graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. Claire's professional career began in theatre where she starred in various productions for major Australian Theatre Companies including Sydney Theatre Company, Melbourne Theatre Company, Queensland Theatre Company, Griffin Theatre, Ensemble Theatre and Black Swan State Theatre Company. In 2014 Claire wrote and starred in her one woman show 'River', which had sell out seasons across Australia. Her performance won her the 2015 ANZ Blue Room Series Theatre Award for Spectrum Now Festival. In 2015, she was a recipient of the prestigious Mike Walsh Fellowship and travelled to New York in to study Method Acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. In 2018, Claire's starring role in 'The Feather in the Web' for Griffin Theatre Company earned her the Sydney Theatre Award for Best Female Actor in a Leading Role in a Main Stage Production. She has since gone on to work extensively in film and television in Australia. Most notably in the film 'San Andreas', the crime drama series 'Hyde and Seek' and the hit Netflix show 'The Letdown'. Claire recently completed production on the Paramount+ Original crime thriller series 'North Shore', the Stan series 'C*A*U*G*H*T' starring Sean Penn, as well as the second season of the ABC series 'The PM's Daughter' and the popular Peacock/Stan series 'Wolf Like Me' opposite Josh Gad and Isla Fisher. She will next be seen in 2023 starring in the upcoming Amazon original series 'Class of '07' and Celeste Barber's Netflix series 'Wellmania'. Claire is also a prolific voice over artist and frequently lends her voice to global campaigns for brands such as Airbnb, Google, Dropbox, Fitbit and QANTAS. Recent audiobooks narrated by Claire include Isobel Beech's debut novel 'Sunbathing' and 'A Recipe for Family' by Tori Haschka.
