Kathleen was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. Kathleen was introduced to acting at the age of 9 and began doing plays with Fort Bend Community Theater. She worked with the Sherry Young Agency in Houston until graduating high school in 2004. She then attended The University of Texas in Austin with a major in Theater&Dance. Kathleen attended The New York Conservatory of Dramatic Arts, and lives in New York City.
