David C. Kirtland is a New Orleans-born filmmaker who specializes in physiological thrillers and dramas. David developed a love of cinema at 12 years old and began writing, shooting, directing, and editing his own movies with his Grandfather's 8mm film camera. David is a lifelong student of film, who studied every detail of his hero's work, which include Richard Donner, Steven Spielberg and Alfred Hitchcock. David serves in the Louisiana Army National Guard, where he spends most his time writing, shooting, directing and editing documentaries during military operations. His films include, To Kill, Dark Blue, Homelicide, Voiced Over, and many others. David has developed several series and feature films.
