Muzaffer Mehmet Caglar

Muzaffer Mehmet Caglar was born in 1984. He is a director and scriptwriter. He studied Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Business Administration Istanbul Yeditepe University and went to New York for cinema training. He graduated from New York Film Academy Filmmaking department. He worked in Evci Film Production Company over three years. He worked assistant director of the feature film 'Winds'. Winds screened at festivals worldwide. Caglar worked for several years on documentaries, television networks, short films, commercial and music videos. He directed his short film 'Expectation' in New York and at the early stage of his career he worked as a cinematographer. He worked as a cinematographer of 'Crimson Crescent', which won two awards in American International Film Festival. His short 'The Stranger' won film support fund took part in the festival's competition. He established Caglar Motion Pictures Film Company in 2012. His last short film 'The Sacrifice' supported by Culture and Tourism Ministry public fund. Caglar is developing his first feature 'Winter Light' with public support, sponsors, and co-production. Also, he has an eye on the international co-production market. He continues to develop his feature with 'Ebru Ceylan screenplay workshop'.
