Jorma Kaulanen (1982) is a Finnish filmmaker. He was born and raised in Northern Finland, in a small village called Kolari. After graduating from high school, he studied in Metropolia University of Applied Sciences and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Information Technology in 2010. In 2011 Jorma began his studies in ELO Film Shool Finland and will graduate as Master of Arts in November 2019. Jorma is the founder and CEO of Spell Factory Productions Ltd (2019). Jorma is best known as a sound designer in many short films, including "Mausoleum" (several wins and many nominations at film festivals around the world ), "The Tiger" (La Seaine De La Critique, Cannes), "Post-War Dreams" (Best Documentary, Helsinki Short Film Festival). Jorma has also worked as the producer of animated films "Bring Your Child To Work" and "Zombie Cathers". Jail Lullaby is Jorma's first film as director and the first production of his company.
