Born in Springfield, Missouri, Sheila Joy Jenkins spent most of her childhood growing up overseas in various countries in Africa as well as France and Spain. Her multi-cultural upbringing gave her an appreciation for a wide variety of art and the isolating nature of some of the areas she lived in forced both her and her two brothers to thrive on creativity and their own imaginations. Practicing impressions and performing in theatrical shows through high school she developed a love in finding the truth in all kinds of different characters, especially enjoying those most different from herself. It was in attending Vanguard University from 2009-2013 (graduating top 2% in her graduating class) that she was finally able to cultivate her love of acting. With a curriculum that consisted mostly of classical theater courses (Shakespeare, Greek, and Commedia Del'Arte) she honed her acting skills from some of the greatest foundations. She also trains at the Upright Citizens Brigade in Los Angeles where she now resides pursuing her love of comedy and bringing light to issues she is passionate about such a domestic abuse and human trafficking.
