Alpa Banker

Alpa Banker is an American actor, creator, and writer of Indian (Gujarati) descent. She most recently starred in the human trafficking suspense thriller Trafficked, which premiered and received a standing ovation at the United Nations in 2018. Her television acting credits include comedic appearances in MTV's Awkward and Comedy Central's Idiotsitter. Banker is a talented comedic improviser who has studied and performed at IO West in Los Angeles; a classically-trained dancer specializing in Indian dance; and a national and state-qualifying debater with an honors Bachelor's degree from Washington University in St. Louis, where she studied Acting, Film, and Anthropology. As a writer-producer, Alpa founded Anex Entertainment to tell female-driven Indian stories for global audiences. The company has five action-adventure scripts inspired by Hindu & other ancient mythologies, as well as a Hindi movie & a sci-fi thriller in active development.
