David was born on the 27th January in Enfield, North London, UK and was educated in and around Hertfordshire and North London. At the age of 18, David began his acting training at East 15 Acting School in East London. After a number of film and theatre roles, David was cast as one of the leading roles in BAFTA winning director, Martin Gooch's film "After Death", which won numerous awards at film festivals worldwide. Playing opposite Paul Freeman (Raiders of the Lost Ark, Hot Fuzz), Nick Moran (Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels) and Leslie Phillips (of "Carry On" fame), David was a late addition to the cast having been confirmed only the night before shooting commenced to replace another actor who had dropped out of filming due to sickness. He was subsequently cast in a number of other productions notable amongst these being as the leading role in romantic comedy "Art Ache". Theatre credits include the title role in "A Picture of Dorian Gray", Benedick in Shakespeare's "Much Ado About Nothing" and Captain Phoebus in "The Hunchback of Notre Dame". Prior to training as an actor, David served as a Rifleman in the British Army (Infantry, Army Reserves).
