Leigh Ann Bellamy

Leigh Ann was born and raised just outside of Kingston Ontario. She was always involved in the arts starting ballet classes when she was 3 years old. Still dancing at fourteen she discovered theatre, and became entrenched in the Kingston theatre community performing roles over the next few year ranging from Ophelia in Hamlet to Raine in Judith Thompson's Habitat. She bought her first camera at fourteen and dove into the world of film. It captivated her. In between acting roles and teaching theatre to youngsters she kept herself very busy taking on as many film projects as possible. She was accepted into Vancouver Film School for Film Production in December 2009. The intensive one year program focused on teaching all facets of film making allowing her to develop her skills in many areas. She moved back to Kingston in June of 2010 where she began CuriousYou Productions.
