Stephanie Philo

Steph Philo is a Southern Californian native. She has trained at South Coast Repertory as a young performer & attended the Orange County High School of the Arts. She graduated college with Honors in Acting & spent a brief time in New York. While attaining her MFA in Acting from the University of CA, Irvine, Steph Philo was granted acting scholarships every summer: she went to the Avignon Festival for an independent project, traveled to Poland on tour starring in the premiere of the musical Lumping In Fargo, and finally, to the Edinburgh Festival. Now based in Los Angeles, Steph Philo does regional theater around California & is enjoying the beginnings of her TV/Film career. She founded The Actors Shelter, an ensemble of talented actors in SoCal who focus on reading the great works of our most celebrated writers. She loves working with and for actors: from teaching to performing, Steph Philo is proud to be a member of the SoCal acting community.
