Allison Bergman is a stage and screen director. Her work includes two films, forty stage productions, and many premiers and developmental workshops in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco. Allison is a recipient of Women In Theatre's prestigious Outstanding Woman In Theatre Award, and a Drama-logue Award for Directing. Allison is also a performance coach. Her book, Acting The Song, is used in many musical theatre training programs as a text book and a teacher's guide. Allison has an MFA in directing from Carnegie Mellon University where she was named a Steven Bochco Scholar, a BFA in theatre studies/directing from Boston University, and is a member of Directors Lab West. She also studied at L.A. City College Theatre Academy, American National Academy of Performing Arts and The Southern California Conservatory of Music. Learn more at www.allisonbergman.com.
