Sara Ross-Samko

Sara Ross-Samko is a cinematographer and filmmaker. Informed by a diverse background in stop motion animation, music, theatre, and photography, she works in narrative and experimental storytelling, always striving to create unique worlds and emotionally driven imagery. A graduate of the AFI Conservatory's MFA cinematography program, she now is a member of the Cinematography Faculty. Awards include a Women in Film Scholarship for Directing, Panavision's New Filmmakers Grant, Kodak's grant for emerging filmmakers, and participation in the Berlinale Talents and IFP Week.
