Edwin Anthony Millheim was born in Pennsylvania. Edwin Grew up in Florida and was raised in a single parent home by his mother Rebecca, with his sister Valencia and Brother Phernell. He always had a fascination for acting and the film process from a young age. Often convincing his mother, brother and sister to pretend to put on plays or pretend to make mini movies with characters and stories. Around the early 1980s Edwin started to study Wing Chun kung-fu from a friend he met in Kentucky. Then into Whitelotus Kung-fu, a mix of northern and southern Shaolin. It was not until 1990 that Edwin Millheim ventured into acting. Two students wanted him to choreograph a fight sequence for them for an audition for a Medieval Fairs live combat chess show. He was invited to come along and found he enjoyed it. He learned that doing a fight scene was not just about the fight, but a part of the story and was character driven. He also learned the standards for stage combat and mixed it well with dynamic choreography of martial arts. Edwin and his daughter Shael, also founded Stalking Dragons Stage Combat, a stunt choreography team that teaches a safe method for stage combat. Acting soon came in to play once again for a noble cause...Edwin...Along with his daughter Shael were civilian volunteers with the Manatee County Sheriff's Department with the Hostage Negotiation Team. He and his daughter came up with scenarios of people in crisis or hostage situations that they then acted the parts for the Hostage Negotiator team to train on situations. Sometimes coming up with the scenarios themselves or following the training lead officers outlines. Over the years, Edwin has been Cast Coordinator for interactive shows, as well as stunt and fight director and actor for various film and live action stunt shows. He has had featured parts as a Stage Combat fighter, and has choreographed hundreds of hours of scenes over the years for medieval and renaissance fairs and pirate fests. On occasion, he has worked with his Daughter Shael and his Wife Donna on projects.
