Hailing from the land of rain and mountains in British Columbia, Canada, Sareeta moved to Edmonton, Alberta to pursue drama and education at the University of Alberta, where she graduated from in 2015. Sareeta has been performing since she was six years old, starting with dance, and then in high school she went on to become the crazy thespian that she is. In 2008, she volunteered with United Players Theatre Company of Vancouver, assisting with costume design for Coram Boy, and operating lighting and sound for various shows after that. She has been involved in a number of musical productions, performing in Oklahoma! and Bye Bye Birdie in high school, as well as Lister Hall Students' Association's Seussical: The Musical in 2012. She was Sound Designer for her university's campus musical Young Frankenstein in 2013. Sareeta was Production Manager and played Tiresias in a student-directed production of Welcome to Thebes in 2014, and she was in a number of other student-directed performances throughout her university career as well, including Orestes 2.0 in her final year as Lighting Designer. Most recently, she was in Condolences, a short film to be released in 2017.
