He was born Rahman Gorede in Istanbul, Turkey. He is the son of Tenzile (Gorede), a housewife, and Ergün Gorede, professional tour guide. Rahman was the first of their two children, with a smaller sister, Hilal. The Gorede family moved to Alanya, 1985, Antalya, where Rahman grew up. He attended Ozel Hamdullah Emin Pasa High School in Alanya. The family stayed in Alanya, Rahman then relocated to Istanbul, where he attended collage of IKU, (Istanbul Kultur University). Here, he studied on English Literature and Language. Though he received no formal acting training, after "IKU" Rahman segued into an acting career, appearing on the TV series Sardunya Sokak (2007). He first attracted serious critical attention with his performance as the Doctor Oguz, in a leading role, Dogruluk Ekseni (2008). In Turkey, compulsory military service applies to all male citizens from twenty to forty-one years of age. Rahman served 6 months as short term private in the army. (2010) Appearing in TV series Kurtlar Vadisi, which is one of the phenomenal TV productions in Turkey, he raised up his popularity.(2011) Rahman joined the crew of ARGO as the stunt man of Ben Affleck for the shooting parts that took place in Istanbul. Working for foreign productions, he started to take attention of some of famous foreign directors as well. One of them was Fotini Siskopoulou. She casted him for Istanbul Story.(2014) The other name was Hineer Saleem, known for Vodka Lemon, casted him for Tight Dress, which attended Cannes Film Festival. (2015)
