Steven began his acting career as an extra in Cops and Robbers (1973), which was written by his father Donald E. Westlake. He's performed onstage in numerous productions throughout New York State, Florida, and Iowa, including Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, The Taming of the Shrew, Cabaret, Our Town, The Fantasticks, This Property Is Condemned, and many more. He's a former board member of The Summer Savoyards, Inc., one of the premiere Gilbert & Sullivan companies in the U.S. His role as the Park Attendant in House on Ghost Hill Road (2016) marks his first starring role in a feature film. Steven owns National Police Gazette Enterprises, LLC, the company that currently publishes and manages the National Police Gazette--a legendary American magazine. Other jobs include work for Morgan Stanley, Saatchi & Saatchi, NYLIFE Securities, and Cadaret Grant & Co. He has a BA in history from Binghamton University and an MFA in creative writing from the University of Miami.
