She was born in Jacksonville Florida and grew up in all areas of that state. Her parents were Eric and Sandra Martin who encouraged their daughter to always pursue her dreams and "never let the boys win". During her high school years at Plantation High School in Plantation Florida and Edgewater High School in Orlando Florida she was an active tennis player. Which is where the parental advice never let the boys win came to fruition. She graduated from the University of Central Florida. Upon graduation from college she married her college sweetheart Byron Huffman who promptly moved her to Texas. She had 2 children - a boy and a girl and during their young years she stayed home to raise them. She had a career as an elementary school teacher with most of those teaching kindergartners. She retired from teaching and began the pursuit of her bucket list items. One of which was to work as an extra in movies.
