Thor Stone (Ingason) is an Icelandic actor, artist, musician and composer, who lived much of his young life in East Africa. He took part in bands and was a diplomat for a while, representing Iceland. Always interested in music, he has contributed to film soundtracks, as well as composing life-based songs. Thor has always felt playing and composing his own music is as therapeutic as riding motorcycles, of which his favorite is a big black and chrome Indian Chief. After attending university in England for a few years, while working in the "Computer Department" of Coca Cola Iceland, he went on to become a teacher in "Computer Studies" at the Reykjavik Technical College for 10 years, teaching among other courses, "Web Page Programming", as well as other computer related courses, like "Word Processing" and "Spreadsheets" (using Excel), for his fellow Teachers and the Disabled. Another passion, in the cold country of Iceland was: Driving! Even while teaching, Thor regularly drove groups of 15+ people to the Glacier Lagoon, in Iceland, stopping at Glaciers and Waterfalls on the way. The groups stayed at farmer lodging, where Thor played piano and guitar to accompany himself, or until people joined in, and sang, long into the night, after which they went out to photograph the Midnight Sun, in Summer, or the Northern Lights, in Winter. It was a magical time. -- It sometimes helped that Thor speaks (and sings) 5 languages: Icelandic, English, French, Swahili and Kreol (from Mauritius), and since Driving is also his passion, in the land where its too cold and wet to ride motorcycles year-round, coupled with his ability to offer absolute privacy and confidentiality, he was later asked to drive celebrities and film crews (Films like: Interstellar, Oblivion, KungFu Yoga, Game of Thrones, etc.) around Iceland, as well as flight crews like Iceland Air and Air Canada, which pay the bills, more than the first lot. -- His home-based-bookshop "TheStone Adventure Books" (Steinninn Ævintýrabækur) still has the most variety of "Role Playing Games" in Iceland, and had a monopoly on selling role-playing games to the "Viking Mall" at the NATO the base, in Keflavik, Iceland, after Thor was one of the "Survivors" of the "Dungeons and Dragons Tournament" that "Project Player" (a dept. within the NATO Armed Forces) held, at the NATO base. Thor has also been known to do some stand up comedy, and compose "amusing" but provocative songs, bordering on the obscene (or offensive, to some), which seem to delight audiences, but cause some concern for the people hosting the events, who have been known to say, at subsequent shows, as Thor went on stage: "TRY AND KEEP IT CLEAN!". He has always felt the line should be pushed, until "expression" is truly free. Thor can be extremely supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!!! (... more to come. He's not dead yet!)
