Trevor Sewell is an award winning composer and performer who has played sessions for various artists in myriad genres, from metal to new age including several Billboard-charting albums. He is a full voting member of the Producers Wing at NARAS (The Grammys) and has recorded six solo albums in as many years, which feature guest artists such as Janis Ian, Mother Earth's Tracy Nelson, Lorraine Crosby (Meat Loaf), Sean O'Bryan Smith, and Paul Barrere of Little Feat. Sewell has recorded in many of the esteemed London studios, such as Abbey Road, Odyssey, Sarm West, Sarm East, Eden, and in the U.S. at Capitol Records (Hollywood) and Sound Emporium (Nashville). His songs are included in numerous compilations, alongside artists such as B.B. King, Bruce Springsteen, and Robert Johnson. Recently, Sewell has appeared at venues in New York, London, and Los Angeles, and he recently headlined at The Vila De Conde Blues Sessions in Portugal. Sewell's albums have appeared on multiple noteworthy music charts around the world, including The Roots Music Report (U. K. ~ charted #1 for his Calling Nashville album), Smooth Jazz Network charts (Top Twenty), and Top Ten on the U. K.'s Independent Blues Broadcasters Association (IBBA) chart. Sewell has a background in writing and producing music for television and in the audio-book/Spoken Word genre, he recently narrated author J. H. Sanderson's Dangerous Gambles, about a '70s cover band recruited into espionage against their will. Sewell has written and produced music for many clients which include the BBC, Filmtrax PLC, Channel 4 , Sony, Worldchoice Holidays , International Order Of The Foresters (Canada) and French Telecom.
