'Emmi', born Emily Green in Torquay, Devon, is a singer/songwriter and actress. Writing for others for many years, Emmi came out as an artist in her own right in 2015 with the release of her debut independent single 'My Kinda Swag'. BBC Radio 1 named it their 'Introducing Track of the Week' and the Guardian called it "the highlight of 2015." Her second single 'Sleep On It' caught the attention of Taylor Swift who named the song on Twitter calling it a new song that will "make your life more awesome." The song went on to enter the top 10 Viral Spotify charts for the USA and the World. Fiercely maintaining her independence, Emmi branched out to collaborate, lending her songwriting and vocal chops to two European smash hits in 2015 ('Blind' - Feder and 'Our Youth' - Sonny Alven). 2016 saw her take the crown (by popular vote) as MTV Brand New Artist for 2016 in her second home of Australia. Finally, to add magic to a blossoming career, director David Yates then chose Emmi as the voice of the jazz singing goblin in JK Rowling's 2016 prequel 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them'. Emmi is working on her debut album, set for release in 2018.
