Cambrie Caldwell

Cambrie Caldwell was born in Eugene, Oregon to Gail (Hartzell), a registered nurse, and David Caldwell, a private pilot. Her mother comes from Irish, Scottish and English descent. Cambrie grew up on the Oregon Coast and attended school in Florence until her family moved to Central Oregon. She graduated with honors from La Pine High School in 2007 and went on to attend Oregon State University for two years. Cambrie transferred to The Master's College (now The Master's University) and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications in 2011 and spent time serving in the global mission field. She went on to work at a public broadcast station in Nevada, where she developed skills in front of the camera. Cambrie started working for NewsBeat Social (now United News International) in 2014 as a senior news anchor. She lives in Portland and enjoys writing and photography, as well as horseback riding, hiking, and fly fishing.
